Jennifer Johnson was born on June 14, 1944 to the proud parents of Margaret Cunningham and William Johnson in the Bronx, New York. She was next to the eldest child out of six children.
Anyone who knew Jennifer knew how much she loved Harlem and loved to support the Black Community. Every summer you would find her at Harlem week. She loved taking long walks throughout Harlem admiring the scenery and the people. She also had a passion for shopping and collecting Afrocentric Art of all sorts.
Jennifer was a survivor of many circumstances and always held her head high. She touched the lives of many, and will truly be missed.
She leaves to mourn her one and only daughter, Faith; three grandchildren, Jalisah, Joy, and James; two great-grandchildren, Jahsyrah and Zaya; three siblings, Carolyn, Lorraine, and Rosalie; along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
