Obinna was born on March 27, 1980, in the Bronx, New York to Francis and Linda Emedoh. He passed away on September 3, 2025, in the Bronx, NY at the age of 45.
Obinna attended elementary school PS 140, JHS 120, and Stevenson High School. He was a shining light in the lives of all that had the pleasure of knowing him. His passing has left a void in the hearts of family, friends and many more whose lives were touched by him.
To know him was to love him. He would always say nice things people, always giving compliments saying things like you look very pretty and so forth. He would always have a big grin on his face because that’s how he felt about life. The nurses in the Nursing Home loved him and even had their own memorial for him because that’s how he touched their lives. He was a gift to this world. Yes, he was disabled but that didn’t stop him from being the sweet, kind, gentle, and loving person that he was.
Obinna is survived by his mother, Linda; father, Francis; siblings, Omar, Tahira, Elizabeth, Evelyn, Emmanuel, Francis Jr., Edward, and Eric; nieces, Whitley and Tahaji; nephews, Julian and Justin; along with many other family members and friends who will sadly miss him.
