Phyllis Marie Eaddy was born and raised in the Bronx, NY and was the daughter of Felix Eaddy and Annabelle Davis. She was one of five siblings. She obtained her high school diploma and graduated from Grace Dodge High School. Phyllis worked as a Phone Receptionist for Brewster Leeds which later became C.I.T. and retired after twenty years of service.
She was a loving mother, grandmother and sister whose warmth and generosity extended to her friends and community. Her greatest passion was her cooking and she loved doing it whether it was for a holiday feast or just a regular Tuesday night. She was known for her sense of style and enjoyed shopping, but her favorite leisure activity was relaxing while watching her soap operas. Phyllis loved to dance and had a deep appreciation for the music of the 70’s and 80’s She was the life of every party and will be deeply missed and remembered for her funny jokes, quick one-liners, and her great cooking.
Phyllis was predeceased by her parents, Felix Eaddy and Annabelle Davis; sister, Audrey Eaddy McClain; brothers, Derek Eaddy, Felix Eaddy, Jr. and Curtis Eaddy.
She leaves behind two sons, Lamont Eaddy and Eugene Eaddy; grandchildren, Yeshikka Shante, Blakely, Najama Eaddy, Duwuan Phillips, Nya Eaddy and Kia Davis; great-grandchildren, Yha Maiyah Marie Johnson, Praise Ethan Dixon, Eathan Eliah Dixon; along with other family members and friends.
She gained her wings on October 23, 2025 and will be deeply missed and Forever in Our Hearts.
