Robin Renee Pinto was born on December 22, 1954 at Harlem Hospital in New York City, to Harold and Frances Pinto. She attended the New York City Public School system and graduated from Howard Taft High School. She later furthered her education at the City University of New York. She served as an educator at Rena Daycare Center.
Robin was a lover of music, animals, and enjoyed cooking for family and friends. In her early adult years, she could be found spending time with family playing cards and POKENO. Robin had a smile that could light up a room and a presence that was comforting.
On November 30, 2023, Robin passed away at the age to 68 due to residual effects from a bi-lateral stroke.
She was preceded in death by her father, Harold Pinto, and brother, Roy Alexander Green.
Robin is survived by her loving mother, Frances Pinto; beloved partner of many years, Rodney Campbell; she is leaving a legacy of love including daughter, Tennille Pinto; grandchildren, Siobhan, Lotoria, Breannah, Jaydier, and James; great-grandchildren, Paris, Legacy, Londyn, and Kamiyah; two nieces, Ebony and Fatima; cousin, Jasmin; along with a host of other relatives and friends.
She will be missed, we loved her but God loved her best.
