Shamel Hakeem Amos was born on June 14, 1988 in the Bronx, New York to Jeanette Amos and Troy Judon. Shamel departed this life on January 22, 2022 in the Bronx, New York.
Shamel was born and raised in the Bronx and Harlem, New York with his siblings. He was educated in the New York City Public School system where he went to Lehman College where he received a degree in Media Production.
In 2015, Shamel became CEO of his media production company named Shape Shift Films. He dedicated his all into the company by traveling the east coast and took New York by storm shifting the visual culture.
Shamel always kept a smile on his face. He was the life of the party and his energy rubbed o on anyone who came into contact with him. He was also a comedian and would have you cracking up.
He is predeceased in death by his grandmother, Susie Amos.
Shamel leaves behind to cherish his fond memories his wife, Nickema; daughter, Zaniya a.k.a “Fatty-Ms. Patty”; two sons, Nazir and Kahmel; step-mother, Andrea Judon; grandmother, Lena Judon; seven sisters; six brothers; four aunts and seven uncles and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
