Virginia Delois Moss was born in Louisburg, North Carolina to Owen and Minnie Eaton on June 8, 1938. She was the youngest of seven children born of that union. She attended church often with her family. Virginia graduated from Franklin County High School where she met and eventually married the late David Leonard Moss. Together, they raised three daughters.
Virginia was a Manager at the Sheraton Hotel for over twenty-five years. She retired early but continued to practice her managerial skills at home. She would “jokingly” criticize her daughters about their housekeeping skills. She took tremendous pride in her home and demanded that her family do the same.
On July 12, 2022 she found eternal rest at a new address for her everlasting home. Virginia had many names throughout her life and embraced each one. She was most commonly known as “Grandma” by many in her neighborhood. She also embraced the name “Grandma 2” and the less commonly known “Grandma Bubble Bath” but, of all the many hats she wore, Virginia embraced the name “Mom” the best.
Virginia leaves to mourn three daughters, Vanessa Hayes, Olathe, KA, Stacy Keith (Clarence Keith) Bronx, New York, Jacqueline Truman (Keith Truman) Aurora, CO; eight grandchildren, Cory, Kiemar, Lauren, Anton, Christopher, Avery, Randall and Kyra; four great-grandchildren, Kiendra, Aaliyah, Mia and De’Mari; one Godson, Trent Perry and a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
